Truck Parking Enforcement to be Increased.

The Maryland State Highway Administration has notified MMTA that, in response to a large increase in the number of complaints from local jurisdictions and communities, the agency will be expanding installation of “No Truck Parking” signs and working with law enforcement to increase enforcement of trucks illegally parked on state roads.

The primary complaints are of trucks that are parked along shoulders in dense communities.
