Major Detour Near Harper’s Ferry.

On September 12, West Virginia began a project to address safety issues associated with rock-falls along US 340 at the convergence of the Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia state lines near Harper’s Ferry. The road will be closed for three months. A detour has been laid out that adds 22 miles and 35 minutes of travel time.
