Patella Named MMTA Chairman

Armand Patella was elected the 78th Chairman of the Board of Maryland Motor Truck Association at its annual meeting on September 26. Patella is the president of Preferred Services LLC, a company he formed after previously spending over 35 years in the maritime and intermodal trucking industries.
Armand has been the Chairman of the MMTA Intermodal Council for the past 10 years. He also:
- Serves as Treasurer of MMTA’s Political Action Committee
- Is past Chairman of the Baltimore Metropolitan Council’s Freight Movement Task Force
- Is actively involved in the Baltimore Port Alliance’s Executive Steering Committee.
- Was named the 2019 Baltimore Traffic Club’s Transportation Person of the Year.
